Overview
The parallel double disc gate valve is a type of gate valve with excellent sealing performance and a metal hard-sealing structure. Its main feature is that it has reliable rapid shut-off function, and the valve operates quickly and with less effort. It is suitable for various media such as water, steam, oil, and gas. The operating temperature range is: low-temperature type (-196 to -29℃), normal temperature type (-29 to +250℃), medium-temperature type (+250 to +425℃), and high-temperature type (+425 to +600℃). The valve body diameter range produced is: DN40 to 1700 mm (NPS 1 to 68), pressure grade: CL150 to CL2500 (PN20 to PN420). It is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, light industry, oil depots, metallurgy, and power. Product Characteristics
The parallel double disc gate valve is a type of metal hard-sealed valve without a flow channel, with a wedge-shaped valve plug that is opened by a wedge-shaped spring. The key feature of the valve plug is that it has a wedge-shaped movable valve plug assembly, consisting of a wedge-shaped block, a compression block, and a circular valve plate.
The wedge-shaped block adopts a design with a large oblique pressure angle. When opened, the valve plate contracts axially inward, causing the expansion block to sag under its own weight, and the valve plate detaches from the sealing surface of the valve seat, eliminating friction on the sealing surface.
The gate valve is designed with an all-metal structure, featuring fire prevention and anti-static capabilities. It complies with the API6FA fire prevention standards and the API6D anti-static resistance test resistance requirements.
The head of the valve stem of the gate valve is equipped with a anti-popup structure design, and the valve bonnet has an upper sealing seat structure.
The valve disc has a self-cleaning function. When the valve is opened and closed, the flow of the medium in the pipeline causes the floating circular gate plate to rotate and slide naturally, thereby enabling self-cleaning. This improves the sealing performance and service life.
